Airdrop farming can be costly for some of us due to the gas fees, and let’s be honest it can be hard to spend your hard earn money without knowing if we’ll get anything back. Luckily, you CAN farm airdrop for free on projects that are still running on testnet.
In this newsletter, I'll show you how to participate in testnet projects, and maximize your chances of earning airdrops without incurring any expenses.
Getting involved with these is fairly easy. You’ll need to add the testnet network and get some testnet tokens. In this video, I explain how to do it.
But you might be asking yourself, do we really get token airdrops from participating in testnet?
Yes! Aptos airdropped everyone that used their protocol on testnet, matter of fact that was the only airdrop they did. Quick fact: It was thousands of dollars in rewards!
Quasar which is a project that I had on my list but unfortunately forgot about it just announced that around 20,000 testnet users will be receiving an airdrop. Unfortunately, there will be no more airdrops in the future for testnet users.
So yes, you can make money while participating on testnet.

This blockchain is running on testnet and they have been tracking user activities and rewarding them with Zeta points, I’m pretty sure these points will be later used to claim future airdrops.

Crew 3
There are plenty of projects airdropping and rewarding crew3 participants on Zealy.
Crew3 is all about tasks and quests. Some of them are as simple as tweeting, creating content, or taking transactions on testnet. Always make sure to join each project’s discord group to get granted a special role for participating in crew3.
